High sensitivity is rarely mentioned among the qualities of an effective employee or an effective leader. Highly sensitive people are colloquially regarded as weepy, frowning, not very courageous and not very feisty. They also certainly do not “spread their elbows” and demand their own. Does this mean that sensitive people are not good employees? What comes to the fore is often misleading and shows only one side of the coin. What about the other side? What are highly sensitive employees like? What are their strengths? How to manage them, support them? Can such people become effective leaders? These questions constituted the thematic scope of the conference summing up the PRO-MOTION project ENVIRONMENTAL CAREER MANAGEMENT organized by WSEI University on 08.11.2023.
The event had an interdisciplinary character. In particular, it was addressed to career counselors and business representatives – business owners, HR departments.
