High sensitivity – summer school for students in Spiru Haret University

Based on the partnership between WSEI University in Lublin, Spiru Haret University (Bucharest, Romania) and ARTEPSY Association, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Summer School program: Psychological aspects of human high sensitivity: concepts – identification – support. The Summer School courses will take place from July 28th to September 1st, in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Spiru Haret University and will be open to undergraduate and master students. The modules will focus on a number of central themes and will include both theoretical and practical aspects:

  1. Environmental sensitivity: conceptualization and explanation of high level high sensitivity models;
  2. Identifying high sensitivity;
  3. Prophylaxis/prevention. Importance of the environment for the appropriate development of highly sensitive individuals;
  4. Methods of work/support, help, therapy; Support for high-sensitive people in the life cycle.

The courses will be held by: Monika Baryła-Matejczuk, PhD, psychologist, Assistant professor in the Psychoprophylaxis and Psychological Support Unit of WSEI University in Lublin, expert in the high sensitivity, author of questionnaires for measuring sensitivity in children. Coordinator and author of international projects on sensitivity. Gabriela Dumitriu, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, expert in Erasmus projects on hypersensitivity within the Romanian-Polish partnership, associate professor at Spiru Haret University and president of ARTEPSY Association.
