On the 5th and 6th of October 2023 WSEI University and the Metropolitan City of Rome organized an international conference: Sensitive Career Management & Sensitive Workplace Design as an annual celebration of Highly Sensitive Day – the 6th of October and as a part of the European Year of Skills. The Metropolitan City of Rome hosted the event at the beautiful Villa Altieri in Rome.
The first-day programme was curated by the Metropolitan Municipality of Rome, Akademia WSEI, and the Rome Chamber of Architects, with an audience composed of designers, architects, policymakers, HR, and managers. We aimed to raise awareness of the relevance and interplay between the New European Bauhaus initiative and healthy workplace and co-working design and highlight the dynamics and impact of co-working spaces in urban planning and social and economic development.
The second-day program was curated by the Metropolitan City of Rome and Akademia WSEI with an audience composed of researchers, educators, counselors, coaches, HR, and managers. The focus was on career management skills for sensitive young adults, and effective career interventions, strategies, and tools. Researchers, practitioners, and managers will also discuss how sensitive healthy workplaces involve the intersection of behavioral and physical environments and call for a shift in strategic HR.
Congratulations to our host the Metropolitan City of Rome and Maria Fabiani for the great organization of the event, selection of the topics, and inspiring moderation of the event!
